Furniture Delivery

At Tilly and Ted Homeware, we work with a variety of trusted suppliers who ship items directly to ensure a smooth and timely delivery experience. As such, you may receive your order via a courier different from our standard partners. In some cases, the supplier or courier may contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date. If there are any site access restrictions, please notify us in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Delivery Timeframes

Some items may take up to 3 weeks to arrive. (however on most occasions your order will arrive quicker than this.) Once your order is placed, we will be in touch to provide an estimated delivery timeframe.

If you decide to cancel your order after the item has been shipped, a restocking fee may apply and will be deducted from your refund. This fee will be confirmed once the item has been returned to us or the manufacturer.


Upon Delivery

Please inspect your items carefully upon delivery. If you're unable to do so while the courier is present, be sure to sign for the delivery as “unchecked”. We recommend retaining all original packaging and your order confirmation email for any future queries or return requests.

Once an item is signed for and fully paid, it becomes your responsibility. We are unable to accept liability for loss, damage, or destruction after delivery unless the issue—such as damage, a fault, or incorrect delivery—was reported at the time of receipt.

If the item requires assembly, please confirm all parts and instructions are present before starting. Always follow the manufacturer’s assembly guidelines and use the appropriate tools. We are unable to issue refunds for items damaged due to incorrect assembly.

If you plan to store your items, we kindly ask that you inspect them thoroughly first.

All damages or faults must be reported within 5 days of receipt.


Returns Process

At Tilly and Ted Homeware, we offer a 100-day returns policy for furniture and mirrors. While we do not cover the cost of return shipping, we’re happy to advise on the best courier options to help you arrange the return efficiently.
